Sometime you will need a application installing for you to complete a certain task, or as part of a new role, to make you more self sufficient software center has been install to allow you to install these applications without IT's involvement. to do this please follow the below steps.
- Click start and type software center and click on the application.
- When the application opens click on Applications and then All
- Click on the required Application and then click install, this will be installed and you will be notified if the computer needs to be rebooted.
You Application will now be available in the normal start menu, some applications will require approval if this is the case please notify the IT Helpdesk who will approve the application for you.
