This is a brief guide on how to use the VPN so that you can access M2 Systems when away from an M2 office.

How to Connect

First of all, Most M2 issued Devices will already have the VPN software installed, so it's best to check this first as it's the quickest way to connect.

Open the start menu and type 'Cisco AnyConnect' and then select Cisco AnyConnect from the search results.

When the client opens, be sure the access.m2.uk.com is in the below field and then click connect.

When it asks for credentials, use your windows username (first letter of your first name followed by surname, i.e. roconnor) and your current M2 password, also make sure SSLVPN_GROUP is selected as the group type and click OK.

You should now be connected. This is the equivalent of you connecting to the M2 network in the office so you can access The Hub, the H drive etc.

To disconnect from the VPN click on the arrow in the bottom right hand corner of the screen (near the date and time) and look for the Cisco AnyConnect icon (shown below) right click it and press disconnect.

If you don't have the software installed

If you search for the software and it isn't there, open up an internet explorer window and in the address bar type access.m2.uk.com and search.

Log in here with the same credentials as you would if it was installed and it should connect you to the VPN and install the software.
